The Role:To ensure an exceptional, personalized guest experience while maintaining the highest standards of luxury hospitality, operational efficiency, and staff performance.Plays a dual role: overseeing guest experience (front-of-house) and operational management of the lodge. Qualifications & Experience· Diploma/Degree in Hospitality Management or similar· 3–5+ years’ experience in a luxury lodge or 5-star hotel· Previous supervisory or management experience essential· Knowledge of safari/lodge operations highly advantageous· Wine knowledge (beneficial)· Valid driver’s license (often required in remote lodges)Working Conditions (Eastern Cape Lodges)· Live-in position (remote location)· Shift work, including weekends and public holidays· Long hours with a hands-on operational role· High guest interaction and expectation environment
